The tour will include concerts, public workshops, seminars, and other intercultural events in major Lithuanian cities, from September 7-23. The Days of Remembrance events are organized by The Jewish Community of Lithuania in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius and Lithuanian social ,religious, and cultural institutions. This tour is a continuum of violinist Borisas Traubas and The American Virtuosi tour accross USA and was dedicated to The Days of Remembrance this April.<\/p>\n

Of particular significance, on Sunday, September 23, there will be a nationwide observance of the 75th anniversary of the liquidation of the Vilnius Ghetto as part of the National Day of Remembrance of the Genocide of the Jews of Lithuania. The Borowkys performance will be internationally-televised and attended by political and religious leaders from Lithuania, Israel, and other countries. Pope Francis has been invited to attend this event. At this event, they will perform the world-premiere of Lithuanian composer Giedrius Kuprevicius\u2019s work, \u201cThe Star of David.\u201d<\/p>\n
