International Summer Camp in Vi\u0161tytis 2019 is a story of great success created by the determined, hardworking and motivated volunteers as well as efficient cooperation between Litvak Cemetery Catalogue MACEVA and Action Reconciliation Service for Peace. During the previous two weeks of often physically challenging labour we were able to access to more than 600 gravestones.<\/p>\n

But the camp wouldn\u2018t have been possible and successful without the help and support of several organizations and individuals whose names we would like to mention.<\/p>\n

The first name is NGO Good Will Foundation which financial contribution to the camp is very significant.<\/p>\n

Irma Maurien\u0117 is our secret angel who assisted us in many ways since the beginning of organizational work until the last day in Vistytis.<\/p>\n

Karen Shiller sowed in our minds an idea to organize the camp in Vistytis! Moreover, we are very thankful to her family for donations that strengthened us.<\/p>\n

Michael Leiserowitz from Jews in East Prussia not only showed an example of strong work ethic, but also donated cutters to Maceva that brought quality to our work.<\/p>\n

Many thanks to Vi\u0161tytis Regional Park Visitor Center for your hospitality; to Elder of Vi\u0161tytis for bringing us two amazing workers who helped to cut the shrubbery; to Vilniaus \u017eyd\u0173 vie\u0161oji biblioteka \/ Vilnius Jewish Public Library for providing us with the most cosy place to hear a lecture conducted by the professor Ruth Leiserowitz.

\nDas Internationale Sommercamp in Vi\u0161tytis 2019 ist eine Erfolgsgeschichte, die von den entschlossenen, flei\u00dfigen und motivierten Volunt\u00e4ren sowie der effizienten Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Litvakischen Friedhofsverzeichnis MACEVA und der Aktion S\u00fchnezeichen Friedensdienste (ASF) geschaffen wurde. In den letzten zwei Wochen der oft k\u00f6rperlich anstrengenden Arbeit konnten wir mehr als 600 Grabsteine untersuchen.<\/p>\n

Aber das Lager w\u00e4re ohne die Hilfe und Unterst\u00fctzung mehrerer Organisationen und Personen, deren Namen wir nennen m\u00f6chten, nicht m\u00f6glich und erfolgreich gewesen.<\/p>\n

Der erste Name ist NGO Geros valios fondas \/ Good Will Foundation , deren finanzieller Beitrag zum Lager sehr wichtig ist.<\/p>\n

Irma Maurien\u0117 ist unser geheimer Engel, die uns vom Beginn der Organisationsarbeit bis zum letzten Tag in Vistytis in vielerlei Hinsicht unterst\u00fctzt hat.<\/p>\n

Karen Shiller hat uns eine Idee in den Kopf gesetzt, das Lager in Vistytis zu organisieren! Au\u00dferdem sind wir ihrer Familie sehr dankbar f\u00fcr Spenden, die uns gest\u00e4rkt haben.<\/p>\n

Michael Leiserowitz von dem Verein Jews in East Prussia bzw. JudeninOstpreussen zeigte nicht nur ein Beispiel f\u00fcr eine starke Arbeitsethik, sondern spendete auch Baumscheren f\u00fcr Maceva, die die Qualit\u00e4t unserer Arbeit verbesserten.<\/p>\n

Vielen Dank an das Besucherzentrum des Regionalparks Vi\u0161tytis f\u00fcr Ihre Gastfreundschaft; an den \u00c4ltestenrat von Vi\u0161tytis f\u00fcr die Bereitstellung von zwei wunderbaren Arbeitern, die bei der Freischneidung des Gel\u00e4ndes mitgewirkt haben; an Vilniaus \u017eyd\u0173 vie\u0161oji biblioteka \/ Vilnius Jewish Public Library J\u00fcdische \u00d6ffentliche Bibliothek Vilnius, die uns den geeigneten Ort f\u00fcr einen Vortrag der Professorin Ruth Leiserowitz geboten hat.
