October 11, 2020 An educational event and a concert “Day in Vilnius” took place at the Vilnius Gaon Museum of Jewish History, with the participation of students and teachers from Kėdainiai Music School, Klaipėda Vyturys Progymnasium, Vilnius Šolomas Aleichem ORT Gymnasium, Mažeikiai M. Račkauskas Gymnasium and Naujoji Vilnia Music School. This event is part of the GWF-funded project “We. History in Music ”. It’s initiator and leader is the head of the ensemble Klezmer Klangen – Rasa Vaičiulytė. Part of the project “Day in Vilnius” was carried out in order to revive, preserve and disseminate a part of Lithuanian cultural history – the cultural heritage of the Jewish nation, which includes music, literature and art.
