The book contains only a part of printed or unpublished articles in various publications in Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, Yiddish, and speech texts about Lithuanian music creators and performers, who are living or once lived not only in Lithuania but also abroad, the collection of Lithuanian folklore and its publications, famous Lithuanian musicians, collaboration in publishing encyclopedias. This book is a conclusion to the three-volumes of essays about Lithuanian music creators and performers started 20 years ago, as well as about the collection and publication of Lithuanian musical folklore and its use in the works of composers.
