On the initiative of the Lithuanian Jewish (Litvak) Community, the Association of Lithuanian Jews in Israel and the Good Will Foundation, €50,000 was raised for Israeli soldiers wounded in the war against the terrorist group Hamas. The President of the Association, Arie Ben-Ari Grodzensky, visited the heroes and conveyed a message of support from all Lithuanian Litvaks.
