GWF’S co-chair Andrew Baker awarded the Cross of Commander of the Order for Merits to Lithuania

On July 6^th 2024, marking Lithuania’s Statehood Day, President Gitanas Nauseda has awarded GWF’S co-chair, rabbi Andrew Baker the Cross of Commander of the Order for Merits to Lithuania for the solution of international problems of the Holocaust era in Europe, the fight against anti-Semitism, for representing the interests of Lithuanian Jews in Lithuania and the world, for active participation in the activities of the Good Will Foundation.

This is an honorable assessment of the great efforts in spreading Jewish culture and achieving respect and justice for the Lithuanian Jewish community, appropriate commemoration of the Holocaust victims and symbolic compensation for lost property.
