Last week Lithuanian embassy presented Shimon Lev book “From Lithuania to Santiniketan: Schlomith Flaum & Rabindranath Tagore”. In the event the author of the Shimon Lev, Israel ambassador Daniel Carmon, Lithuanian Jewish (Litvak) Community Chairwoman Faina Kukliansky, Lithuanian ambassador Laimonas Talat-Kelpša and other honorable guests. Presentation of the book received a lot of attention in Lithuanian and Indian media, Hindustan Times, newspaper released in 1,2 mln. copies, published an article about the presentation of a book. This attention introduced Kaunas born Litvak traveler Schlomith Flaum to wider audience.
