Commemorating the Days of Mourning and Hope and Occupation and Genocide on June 14 and 15, we share with you an important and significant initiative of the Lithuanian Jewish Community Atminties kalendorius [A Memorial Calendar] that tells stories about the fates of Jews who lived in Lithuania, reminding that almost 200,000 victims of the Holocaust had faces, names and lives. Only a fraction of their photos and stories reached our times – so we could remember them today.
We invite you to follow this page and get acquainted with Lithuanian citizens – workers and businessmen, doctors and artists, craftsmen, and family people.
