Centropa – Institute for Jewish History in Vienna – organizes a seminar in Vilnius.
TOPIC: Lithuanian Jews History of 20th century and the Holocaust.
WHEN? October 17-19, 2024.
TARGET GROUP: educators such as teachers of various subjects, librarians, museum workers who have never participated in seminars organized by Centropa.
This is an introductory seminar aimed at getting acquainted with the goals of the organization Centropa: to collect and document the history of Jews who lived in Central and Eastern Europe. In more than twenty years, Centropa has accumulated more than 25,000 photographs of individuals and families.
The seminar is free. The organizers will arrange accommodation for the participants in a hotel in double rooms, breakfast and lunch, and an active and informative program. Travel expenses are not covered by the seminar organizers.
