Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, better known as the Vilna Gaon, is a prominent rabbi of Judaism, a Kabbalist who devoted all his time and life to the study of TORA and TALMUD.

The year of 2020 was dedicated to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Vilna Gaon.

More than 70 works by Elijah ben Solomon Zalman were published after his death according to student records. The main creative legacy consists of commentaries on ancient religious writings which are studied in the world’s most famous yeshivas.

His deep intellect, erudition and education determined his importance in the spiritual life of the Jews, and the Vilnius Jewish Center was famous all over the world.

The author Leonard Oschry masterfully highlights the human qualities of the Vilnius Gaon in a simple story, which every child can understand and develop in himself or herself. So, the book is primarily dedicated for children and pupils.
