Based on Magilat Esther’s story of the salvation of the Jewish nation in Persia. King Ahazer at that time had bad intentions against the Jewish people and was about to destroy them. The heroine Esther revealed evil ideas and saved the Jews from destruction. Purim is celebrated on this occasion.
The Board of the Jewish Community of Panevėžys invites you to celebrate Purim with joy, good mood and wearing masks. There will be dances and games. Entrance €5 per adult; free for children. Children will receive presents.
