This year, the Pesach celebration in the Panevėžys Jewish community was not as cheerful as usual.
After congratulating the community, its chairman admitted that the issue of Jewish hostages held by Hamas terrorists is still unresolved. Therefore, there are neither conditions nor mood for being joyful yet.
The celebration was held in accordance with all Jewish traditions, reading the Haggadah and eating traditional dishes.
