The following procedure has been established for the consideration of applicants' requests for reconsideration of applications by the GWF:
1. An applicant who disagrees with the GWF’s decision and requests a reassessment of the application must submit a motivated/argued request to the GWF to review his/her application. The request to the GWF may be submitted by July 21, 2025;
2. Applicants who want to submit additional documents to the GWF (which they did not submit with the initial application) may do so by September 1, 2025.
3. Applicants shall be informed of the results of the application reassessment by e-mail within 15 days from the decision of this question made at the GWF Board meeting, which is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.
4. Applicants whose requests are satisfied shall be paid monetary compensation by December 31, 2025.


In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Good Will Compensation for the Immovable Property of Jewish Religious Communities, the deadline for applications for symbolic compensation for private Jewish immovable property has expired on 31 December 2023.

Administrative evaluation of received applications is performed based on the order of application registration numbers starting from 1, and will last through the whole year of 2024. 


Procedure of Applications for Compensation for Immovable Private Property in Lithuania

Section 9 of the Processing Guidelines was amended on April 28, 2023 according to the decision of the GWF Sole Shareholder No. 1/20230428 by indicating submission and signing means for an Application for one-time Payment.

APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED BY MAIL, FAX, EMAIL, ONLINE OR DIRECT DELIVERY TO THE OFFICE OF THE GWF MUST BE SIGNED.
